A Special Eucharist Celebration was organized in honour of our teachers to celebrate Teachers Day. It was held on September 4th, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. in the Marian Hall. A beautiful liturgy was prepared on the theme “Teachers’, Nurture Care for Better Human Relationships.”
On this day, we also celebrated the Feast of Blessed Dina Belanger. The liturgy focused on the teachings of Blessed Dina Belanger and the vocation of teachers and teaching.
The celebrant for the Eucharistic celebration was Fr. Neil Santos – a Priest from the Archbishop’s House.
Through the homily, Father reflected on how we as teachers should be thinking about the good of others and understanding ourselves as better individuals. Education being an infinite process, it is important for us to be connected to God, in our lives.
The Eucharistic celebration was followed by a get together for the teachers organized by Sr. Angela and the sisters of the community.
At the end, Ms. Marilyn – the supervisor thanked Sr. Angela and the management for the meaningful liturgy and for their prayers for each teacher.
