A Special Eucharist Celebration was organised in honour of our teachers to celebrate Teachers Day. It was held on September 3rd 2024 at 9.00 a.m. in the Marian Hall. A beautiful liturgy was prepared on the theme “Teachers’, Architects of Hope for Tomorrow.” On this day, we also celebrated the Feast of Blessed Dina Belanger. The liturgy focused on the vocation of teachers and teaching. The celebrant for the Eucharistic celebration was Fr. K.T. Emmanuel – a priest from the Archbishop’s House. Through the homily, Father reflected on ‘HOPE’ and the connection it has with teachers. Education being an infinite process, it is important for us to be connected to God, in our lives. The Eucharistic celebration was followed by a get together for the teachers organised by Sr. Angela and the sisters of the community. At the end, Ms. Marilyn – the supervisor thanked Sr. Angela and the management for the meaningful liturgy and for their prayers for each teacher.
