On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, special assemblies were conducted for the Pre-Primary and Primary students on the topic ‘Peace and Non-Violence’. The students were made aware of the important role played by Gandhiji for India’s freedom struggle through power point presentations and videos. This was followed by the class activities. Each class teacher had organized an activity for the students on the lifestyle and values of Mahatma Gandhi. The activities held were as follows –
