Republic Day was celebrated in the school. The day began with unfurling the Indian flag and taking an oath. The chief guest for the day was Mr. Ranbir Krishnan. The chief guest along with our Principal Sr. Lavita Fernandes and Sir Stephen and the students were present for the same. After that everyone moved to the second floor where a cultural programme was put up by the students of Std. VIII under the careful guidance of their class teachers, Mrs. Shubha Kakar and Mrs. Leena Pereira. The chief guest along with Sr. Lavita Fernandes and our school Manager Sr. Sylvia Mascarenhas lit the samai with which began the cultural programme comprising of four dances from four different states. There were two judges who had come to adjudge the dance competition winner., The ultimate winners of the dance competition was the Yellow House who had put up a dance based on Gondals of Maharashtra. There was also a PowerPoint presentation shown based on the 11 fundamental duties of the citizens of India. The chief guest Mr. Ranbir Krishnan too enlightened the audience on the 11 Fundamental duties.
