On October 13, 2023, our school had ‘Reading Day’ in honour of the 92nd birth anniversary of India’s beloved former President and eminent scientist, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The event aimed to instill a love for reading and literature among students, following in the footsteps of the “People’s President.”
A Special assembly was organized wherein students recited Dr. Kalam’s famous quotes and shared insights into his life and work. Teachers and students participated in read-aloud sessions, where they took turns reading.
This event undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the students, who continue to be motivated by the ideals of the “Missile Man of India.”
