An Orientation meeting was held for the parents of the Pre- Primary and Nursery.
Our Principal, Sr. Angela Raposo extended a warm welcome to the parents and led them into a prayer invoking God’s presence to guide teachers and parents in bringing out the best in our students. Sister addressed the parents about rules and regulations to be followed.
She then introduced the respective class teachers. The teachers explained simple do’s and don’ts to help children settle down comfortably in their new environment.
Father K.T. Emmanuel was invited to speak about the importance of laying the right foundation for children as they begin their educational journey. With humorous anecdotes and examples, he caught the interest of the parents and emphasized upon the fact that children learn by observation so parents and teachers must always set the right example. From instilling sound moral values, building good character, appreciating and believing in children, nurturing with loving care, turning them into responsible individuals who can contribute to society should be the goal.
Mrs. Maria Pereira proposed the vote of thanks and Father was presented with a token of appreciation.
