National Science Day is celebrated in India on February 28th each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by the Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman in 1928. This day encourages outstanding efforts in the areas of science and communication. It is also marked as the dawn of a new generation. At CJM Fort, we celebrated National Science Day by conducting a Science quiz competition according to the School Houses. The quiz was based on various scientific inventions and innovations. The students participated in the quiz enthusiastically, and it encouraged them towards a scientific attitude. The winners of the quiz were St. Patrick and the runners’ ups were St. Andrew.
