Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November every year, marking the birthday of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, who was known to have been fond of children. This year, Children’s Day was celebrated on the 4th of November 2026 before we commenced the Diwali vacations. The theme for this year’s programme was: ‘You are Precious ‘. The programme began with a prayer service, asking for the Lord’s blessings over our children. This was followed by an entertainment programme performed by the teachers and the PTA. The students left with joyful memories, and as they went home, each child received a small token and some snacks.
