On the occasion of Vachan Prerna Divas or Reading Day an online assembly was celebrated on 14th October to honour the birth anniversary of our late President Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam who had keen interest in reading and writing. This day is observed as Reading Day so that the student understands the importance of reading and are encouraged to develop it as a hobby.
The assembly began with a prayer service, an inspirational video on the life history of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was shown to the students. The students from std V to X participated in the virtual reading activity organised by the school. A lot of enthusiasm and excitement was seen among the students.
