Convent of Jesus and Mary, Fort, celebrated the Annual Prize Day on 6th and 7th October 2023 at 9:30 a.m. in the Marian Hall. The theme for the program was: – “Family creates a Culture of Care”.
The Chief Guests for the occasion were Mrs. Mary Mathew – the Ex–teacher of Fort Convent for Day 1 and Mrs. Susan Fernandes – the Ex-Headmistress of St. Isabel’s High school, Mazagaon, for Day 2.
The program began with a welcome dance followed by the lighting of the Samai and prayer dance.
The Chief Guests – Mrs. Mary Mathew and Mrs. Susan Fernandes along with Sr. Angela rewarded the students with the Certificates and Trophies for their hard work and achievement for the academic year 2022 – 2023.
After the Prize distribution Ceremony, we began with the cultural program. The students performed a wonderful skit which depicted the importance of family and the culture and the values that are taught in the family. The skit also included beautiful dances on family and culture. Students performed the dances with a lot of enthusiasm, zeal and excitement.
Parents as well as the Chief Guests were extremely happy to see the performance of their children.
Sr. Angela thanked the teachers and students for putting in their best efforts and making this event a success! The program ended with the School Anthem.
