Convent of Jesus and Mary, Fort, celebrated the Annual Day on the 22nd of July, 2022. The program was scheduled in the Marian Hall at 5:00 pm. The theme for the program was “ A DROP OF MERCY, AN OCEAN OF LOVE”
The program began with an adorable welcome dance followed by welcoming the Chief Guest Mrs Fiona Rodrigues, the Guest of Honour Mrs Rachna Narvekar, Sisters of the Community, teachers and parents. The Chief Guest and Sr Angela inaugurated the programme by lighting the Lamp followed by a Prayer Dance.
Our Ex- Headgirl Abigail Rodrigues then delivered the Valedictory speech. Followed by the Prize Distribution; the chief guest Mrs Fiona Rodrigues and our Principal Sr Angela rewarded the students with the certificate, trophies and mementos, for their hard work and achievement in the curricular and extra curricular activities for the academic year 2021 – 2022.
Soon after the Prize Distribution, the programme continued with the senior students performing a Solo act depicting the beauty of nature, followed by a skit on care for creation, the students performed various dances like Praising nature, say no to Plastic, Save trees and Earth song which received a lot of appreciation from the audience.
The Chief Guest addressed the students and appreciated the hard work put in by the students , Sr. Angela delivered the vote of thanks by thanking the teachers, students, non teaching staff, helpers for putting in their efforts and making this event a success sister also thanked the parents for motivating the students in every way possible.
