Republic Day was celebrated in our school with a lot of excitement. It was an online celebration where the students and their parents were able to watch the programme. The little girls of Sr. KG had prepared a wonderful programme under the guidance of their Class Teachers. The theme was ‘Unity in Diversity’. The celebration began with a beautiful prayer dance followed by the prayers of the faithful. A story of Republic Day was shown to the students. A few of the students were dressed like our freedom fighters and said the slogans given by them. The programme ended with dances which brought in the sense of patriotism in everyone’s hearts and minds. Our Principal, Sr. Angela visited all the classrooms and greeted the students with the Republic Day wishes.
It was indeed a day of rejoice which made everyone feel proud of being an Indian!
