The Season of creation- A Home for all. Renewing the Oikos of God is a time, where the world unites as one family to pray, protect and advocate God’s Creation. It begins on 1st September, the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation. It concludes on 4th October, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi – the Patron Saint of Ecology.
To celebrate the beauty of creation and to create awareness among the students, an online assembly was conducted for the students of Std. IX and X on 27th September 2021. The assembly began with explanation of the significance and purpose of this season and focusing on the challenging reality that all humans are affected by climatic crises and, by finding ways to preserve and conserve the nature around. The prayer was resided with gratitude, love, and care for creation. A video on water pollutants was shown to create awareness on the importance of saving our planet.
The activities like projects on save water and slogan writing by Std. IX and Crossword on the Natural Wonders of the World and Photo shot on nature or their own family by Std. X were conducted by the class teachers in their respective classes. The students showed their concern and responsibility towards nature through these activities.
