The season begins on 1st September, the day of prayer for creation & ends on October 4th, – the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Ecology. To celebrate this day, an online assembly was conducted for the students of Std. 7 A/B on 24th September. The assembly commenced with the introduction to the theme – “Season of creation: Home for all”. Videos were shown highlighting the marvellous creation of God and that we all need to appreciate and respect the beautiful nature around us.
To create an awareness on preserving and conserving the Mother Earth, class teachers engaged the students in showing their creativity in writing Essay on ‘Creation’ and Making Paper Bags with leaf painting activities. Students enjoyed and participated with enthusiasm.
